Weekly Wrap 19/03- 25/03

'The Sportsman'

Our brand new USA Sports service hit inboxes Friday afternoon and has now been named as 'The Sportsman'. 2 games late Friday evening produced 1 winner and 1 loser, a tiny loss of 0.1. We'll update next week with the progress.

Ultimate Racing

Very little by the way of joy for Ultimate Racing this week or indeed this month, 4 selections this and all of them failing to convert. -10 with just one winner all month. Hopefully it finds it's feet soon.

UK Racing System

Some good progress this month with three big priced winners, Forget You Not the pick of the trio at Wincanton. UK System sits a solid 42 points up so far for the month with 9 winners. Looking really good early in the trial and there's plenty for Free trial club followers to be happy about.

Magic Lays

5 out of 8 this week and a real rocky spell for Magic. A 16 point loss so far this month and just 11.54 points profit overall. Its not been the best of months for Magic and hopefully we'll start to see a return to form quickly.

The Bet Professor

7 winners this week and a huge leap back into profit for TBP. Karakoram a good winner at 6 points profit, One True King also got in the winners at 5 points profit. Both were suitably destroyed by a heffer of a 25/1 winner when Well Planted was first past the post at Musselburgh to get the service back into the black at +13 for the month.

Hanbury Racing

Just 2 places this week for Hanbury who has probably made his profit for the month with a week left. Landsman the pick of the places at 3 points profit. +89 for the month and cruising.

Wedge Winners

What a week its been! 13 winners this week but most importantly a return of the bigger price winners, Well planted was a solid 25 points profit at Musselburgh but was never going to beat 40 point winner Advanced Virgo at Cork. Just 10 points to overturn as we head into month end and a lesson for all to be learned,

HRN

Six winners this week and just like Wedges a big old turn around as HRN even gets into profit. Well Planted at 25/1 outclassed by a 40 point winner Advanced Virgo. +4 for the month which after how deep into the red we went no one will complain. The results show this happens, Its important to stick with your long term mindset and keep to your staking. One month doesn't make a year.

So what’s to watch?

HRN & Wedge Winners

A pretty sensational turnaround for both Wedges and HRN with both benefiting from 40/1 and 25/1 winners. I mentioned last week that both services needed the return of big winners and its come just in time with HRN showing a profit and Wedges Not far behind. Long term mindset and staking plan pays and and both services have proven that they can make a come back even when the losses seem huge.

UK Racing System

Its been a really solid start to the trial for UK Racing System at 49 points profit this month after a rocky start. Its a part of the free trial club and you can follow its progress here.

The Bet Professor
A solid up-tick in form along with a hefty 25/1 winner see's TBP in profit for the month. The service had a bit of a spell but this again leads back to the long term mindset we harp on about forever and a day. One month doesn't make a year and while its been rough the followers that just stuck to the plan will reap the reward long term.

Winner of the Week Is-

HRN and Wedges share the spoils with 40 point winner Advanced Virgo winning at Cork. A big winner that helped both services to demolish their losses in whats been a rare tough month.

Simon Says:

Recently I reduced my unit stake price for HRN, WEDGE & BP, to preserve my funds. At the same time I increased my unit stake price for Hanbury due to Richards return to form.

Ironically this week, HRN, WEDGE & BP are all in the black with positive points gained. The opposite is true of Hanbury. As previously stated, I’m playing the long game, so all good, nothing to worry about.

On Thursday I thought I was being clever by boosting Advanced Virgo from odds of 13 to 14, there by securing myself an extra £10 when it won. ROOKIE mistake! Other, no doubt wiser and more experienced group members, saw the odds drift nicely up to 41! That little mistake cost me £270 but underlined the importance of using BOG when & where available.

These events also underline the importance, value and benefits to be gained by following the PuntHub chat groups. The helpful free advice, support & chat with other group members is invaluable and often hilarious. Even if you don’t want to participate in the chat, you will find valuable nuggets of advice there.
