Weekly Wrap 27/08- 02/09

Big Balls

A rough start to the trial has seen the author drop his draw system in favour of straight win bets - which has noted a positive change with 4 wins from 6. Be interesting to see where it goes from here although has ground to make up at -17 overall.

W'Acca (Wacky/Weekly Acca)

1 Team away from a 4.4k payout last weekend. Lisbon at home to a newly promoted side losing 2-0.

The safer version of the midweek acca won, however the bigger version didn't with under 2.5 letting it down.

Premier Lays

The run continues with 2 more lays winning this week as Prem lays rises to 7.84 points profit for the month. Currently on an 8 lay run!

E/W Peaches

Just two tips placing this week and it simply isn't working out so far for E/W Peaches who slips to -23 overall. Let's hope September can be the catalyst for a step forward.

New Racing Trial (BSP)

A deluge of month end winners turned things around in fine fashion for NRT. Twelve winners helped the service turn a strong profit for August at +26 (bsp), Wades Magic returned a solid 6.27 at Southwell while Another Romance returned over 7 points profit at Salisbury to kick September off.

The Bookies Enemy

Just one winner this week as Gary ended the month +48. Bellstreet Bridie his only winner this week returning 4 points profit. 48 points profit for August and -5 with no winners so far as we start September. Lets hope Gary can bang in another good month.

Apart from 4/1 winner Bellestreet Birdie on Wednesday, this week was very lack lustre for Bookies Enemy. Nothing disastrous though, -7 pts for the week.

Bet 2 win

Four bets Two winners this week as Dev's win service looks to end the shaky spell. Fairy Cross returned 2 points to end August and SOUND OF IONA returned another 2 points profit at Ascot. Ended August -1 and starts September 1 point up.

Needs a good month for September or it'll be three losing months on the spin.

Lay 2 win

At least ended August with a couple of lays winning back to back, September got off to a bad start though with his first lay losing. Ended August -4.79 and starts September 2.65 down.

Dev's lay service in desperate need of some form. I hope he finds it.

Cheek Pieces

No winners this week, Scraped a profit for August at +2 and starts September -3.

Been pretty poor if I'm honest.

I took the decision to drop Cheek Pieces going forward as it just isn't making me any money.

The Bet Professor

Eight winners most of which coming at the end of August for TBP as the service returns 58 points profit for the month, Zephina knocked in 9 points profit at Wolves and Marwari added 6 points profit at Southwell.

+58 to end August and a good month in the bag, -8 so far for September as the service once again goes off in search of winners.

8 bets this week as winners continue to elude Richard. Corrany the pick of the two placed horses returning 3.2 points.

-8 this week and I think Richard might be glad to see the back of the flat season.

No winners. -19.7 for August -4 for September.
I say this with the best of intentions, the service is becoming a nothing service. -61 points since June and no signs of a sustained uptick, this looks nothing like the main service,

12 winners and a massive month at +109 or over £1000 profit for August to £10 stakes.
Street Life the pick of his mostly short priced winners at 6 points profit.

HRN
Been really singing HRN's praises as he ends the month +98 for August. Eight winners this week, Love Is Golden a good winner at 9 points profit only to be beaten by 11 point winner Elham Valley at Newton Abbot.

Both HRN and wedges have been in sublime form this month, over 200 points profit between the two and they're both worth a look.

Another excellent week for this consistent service. The week kicked off with 3 super wins last Saturday (27.8), notably Lunarscape at 10/1. Got to mention Gert Lush winning Sunday as that name makes me smile everytime! 3 more wins on Monday, plus another 2 on Tuesday, notably 11/1 winner Elham Valley. Love Is Golden got September off to a great 9/1 start. This service should surely be the cornerstone of any Premium Service Portfolio. +23 pts for the week.

So what’s to watch?

HRN

+98 for August and plenty to cheer about, this must have backbone service is a sure fire favourite and has been growing in popularity all month. Long term followers always win and a vast record of results prove that.

Wedge Winners

The two losing months previous are absolutely wiped out and long term followers are once again laughing all the way to the bank as WW knocks the profit in for fun once again. At +109 for August or over a grand in the bank last month you'd be daft to not get involved with such a high flying service.
