Weekly Wrap 15/10 - 21/10

October has pretty much kicked the S**T out of most tipsters, but there are some shoots of green this week. Read the weekly update below.

The Dutchess

Five winners this week and at -10 so far its not a good start for the Dutchess. Sam Barton the pick of his winners at Worcester returning 4.61.

-10 for the month so far, not an ideal start to the trial.

The Racing Angle

After a great showing last week we get a more lacklustre outing this week with just one winner.

Maximilian the only tip to turn a profit at 1.63

+13 for the month.

Still up but this week will be rough on new followers.

Stat Attack Win

One winner this week from a service that is really failing to meet expectations. Cannon Rock a good winner returning 6.62 at N.

-10 for the month, -28 overall.

No lays this week.

W'Acca (Wacky/Weekly Acca)

No joy with last weekends acca, this weeks was also let down by a 95th minute equaliser - the last kick of the game.

Premier Lays

About right, Prem lays put in a solid performance to head premium and then hits a rocky spell straight away. Three losing lays this week doing the damage and slowing progress.

-5, a disappointing start to premium life

The Bookies Enemy

Anyone with a long term mindset knows that you have to endure these spells in order to reap the rewards. A solid profit the last 2 months means that over the last 3 months you've still got just over £1000 profit to £10 stakes. Stick long term.

Two winners this week and not much to shout about however, Jackamundo the pick of the pair returning 5.40.

Bet 2 win

Three bets three losers this week so nothing to mention.

Holds on to a profit at 0.83 for the month and now nothing until 1st November.

Lay 2 win

-4 with 1/3. the last 2 losing lays shipping over 5 points out.

Really needs to find its feet, has been poor since July and remaining members must be getting a little fed up.

The Bet Professor

Ten winners this week and solid performance this time out. Gabrial The Devil returned a solid 10 points profit at Catterick to be beaten by 11 point winner Glorious Lady at Worcester. 6 points to be overturned for a profit this month but with the wind in his sails it looks like that'll be short work!

Hanbury Racing

Two good places for Richard this week as things begin to look like warming up.

Ben Vrackie a 66/1 place on Sunday and Monticello also a 66/1 place on Thursday.

Friday was a little unlucky with a 40/1 shot finishing 6th with 5 places advised.

Total profit for the week of +20 and it's very much welcomed.

Hanbury 'Winners'
A winner and a place this week with Bird For Life returning 14.4 points profit and showing that at any moment HW could find the patch of form it needs to get back into the black.

Wedge Winners
Eight winners this week and despite the winners there's not enough profit between them to halt the slide. Crystal Caves the only noteworthy winner this week returning 4.5

-16 and Wedges like HRN is one of those services that can knock in loads of winners from nowhere and be out in front just like that. Fingers crossed next week is one of those weeks!

HRN
Five winners this week and a good step in the right direction for HRN. Dark Jedi [great name] returned 8 points profit at Doncaster but was bettered by Unspoken returning 10 points profit at Doncaster later that day.

-20 but there's plenty to be positive about this week. Could well be in profit by month end.

So what’s to watch?

Three services this week have showed really promising signs of recovery, a good return to form this week

Hanbury Racing

A pair of 66/1 placer's and a 40/1 just outside of the frame (some actually got 6 places) so well worth a mention at +20 for the week. Hopefully it's beginning to turn with jumps getting underway.

HRN

5 winners this week really helping HRN's turn in fortunes as he looks to turn a profit with just a few days of the month left. Been in the position on so many occasions and the service has found what's needed to turn a profit. Take a look at HRN here

The Bet Prof

never too far away from a winner and this week proved that with ten winners this week and some returning a solid profit. Glorious Lady the pick of those at 11 points profit. Next week could prove to be the moment where TBP breaks back into profit and after last weeks return it could be a big one! Take a look at TBP here.

Winner of the Week Is..
Bird For Life was a good winner this week for Hanbury winners returning 14.4 at Wolverhampton. Its a winner worthy of bragging rights this week but Richard will know he needs to find more to turn his fortunes!
