Across The Flat

12 selections and 13 points staked this week. No winners to show for the efforts this week and the trial drops to -36 overall.

Petes Paddock Picks 

I gave up tracking at bsp. I do think he knows his horses, I just dont think he's profitale at BSP, and given how early he puts selections out the night before the prices will be very hard to achieve. I may revisit this one down the line but for now im calling quits on Pete. Which is a shame because he started really well.

JV Private Service 

Did at least find a winner - but only one, and still lost another 12 points.

Given that I restarted tracking in March as BSP wasn't working he's still losing and is -53 overall since March. He can have 2 more weeks to show me he can tip otherwise he's binned.

HORSEPLAYS

Really excoted to kick off the trial of HorsePlays, it's a service somewhat akin to Hanbury Racing in that he goes looking for value in the market, except not 66/1 pokes, more 10/1 pokes.

No winners from Horseplays this week. 20 points lost and it brings me right back to the hanbury days where he would have long losing streaks. The average odds are sitting at 9/1 so it matches the norm for him. Very early days

Only 3 selections this week with European quarter finals blocking any midweek action. Everton 1-1 Arsenal the highlight of the three returning £58 profit to my £10 stakes.

NEW TRIAL - Wonky Donkeys

This is an idea I think has got legs, something I've been running in xcloudbot for a few weeks, it's a lay service based on bad tipsters. The problem is finding the right balance of bad tipsters as we all know every shit tipster out there eventually has a world beating day.
 
I have settled on 5 systems having originally dumped about 15 into it which was just far too many. I was very tempted to make system A into a lay of the day v2, I may yet do that, but for now I will trial as a complete lay service.

Only 2 days of selections this week so I will do a full update next week.

A very busy week for the automated xCloudbot backing service with a whopping 97 selections, sadly amounting to a loss of 1.8 points.

April so far -10 and the ROI takes another beating down to 2%

1,378 bets for +30, it's just not moving forwards, or backwards. It's a bit of a nothing service so im going to stick a pin in it for punthub members as I don't feel it's good enough.

The Handicapper 

20 selections this week but a small loss of 1.5

Billy Mcgarry was a nice winner at 6.08 BSP

Patrol was a deadheat winner at 9.46 BSP - the difference between a decent week and a small loss.

Betty Lay

After 1200 lays placed we can fairly comfortably make an informed decision from the data gathered, and the data suggested a filter can improve an already hugely impressive system.

I made the tweak on Tuesday and results since then (noti nlcuding Saturdays 2/2):

A really posotive tweak and will reduce selections and variance.

I made 5 spaces available to join the Ai Lays fully automated with xCloudBot.

World-Wide Racing Service 

50 selections on Saturday (25, but each way count as 2)

Managed to scrape 1 point profit from all of that..

After 4 weeks of profit TML finally has a losing week..

Lay of the Day 

Last week he finally hit that winner that was due, this week he hit 2 more.

This exposes the difficulty in only laying one horse per day (assuming there are 7 horses a week and all 7 actually qualify between odds 4-10). It really isn't easy - the chance to recover after a loser takes at best 3-4 days, at worst a whole week, by which point he's getting due for another losing bet.

I'm not treying to pick holes in what he does - I love the service and he's been so so consistent for 8 of the 10 months i've followed, by lately seems to have gone off the boil a little with back to back losers creeping in on the odd occassion and it completely fucks a whole months profit.

I hope he can regain those long winning runs, but more so I hope he stops fucking hitting 2 and 3 in a week. I much prefer my own Ai Lays - if I hit a loser I can recover all that loss on the same day or generally within a couple of days thanks to the volume.

Only 21 selections this week and despite a couple of nice winners managed to lose 3 points on the week.

Struggled in 2024 but 2025 looks like he's cooking again with a solid March and now into profit for April, I'll take a chance and say the Bet Prof could be a worthy gamble this week.
