For anyone new - This is basically just a quick rundown of performance over the past week. In order to get everything covered in a timely fashion I start the week on a Saturday and end it on a Friday.
Basically yesterdays bets are the start of next Sundays email.
I prefer to be honest and call a
spade a spade - If I think something is good and worth watching then its definitely worth a look.
FREE STUFF
Or lack theiroff at the moment..
HorsePlays - Finished his 3 month proofing to my inbox with a moderate profit, despite a chunky 50 point drawdown to begin with he ended +20 or so, which given the drawdown is a great effort. A total mixed bag over
the 3 months which in a way is actually really good to see (3 incredible months can easily give a false view of a service).
It's a service with quite a bit of history to it (around 12 months), and given the 3 months I will invite him to come back for another month or two with a view to taking 30-40 clients who understand variance and value betting. Look out for an email about this next week.
Daily Double - Landed a pair of winning doubles (for those that bet them as doubles) this week: Tuesday & Saturday, but otherwise nothing between. A small loss of 1.7 to betfair SP singles this week. Service as a whole drops to -5 and just seems to be stuck around about 0 throughout the 123 bets to date.
This is how my xCloudBot system looks to date for these (7% ROI) -
Treading water is ok if it leads to progress soon. Otherwise the ROI just keeps shrinking and it becomes pointless. They will remain free, and included in the xCloudBot setup to automate as part of membership.
Liability Lays - New to being emailed out, a couple of weeks old otherwise. From the author of the latest free trial to make the grade - CH Racing - who looks like Jesus (no shit). The aim is to find low priced horses to lay, and lay to liability (to lose x instead of to win x), mostly evens or below so far.
As of friday the total stands at -£3. I've started tracking them via xCloudBot which makes
life easier for me and i'll be able to keep a detailed record going forward. New, from someone who wins, and something to paper trade for a bit and see how he goes.
All it takes is a couple of winners to turn things around, after a slow start to life as a newly promoted Premium Tipster, Chris showing up and delivering the goods in July. Selections are sent on an evening so you get plenty of time to bet, it's not a bet heavy service like other systems, the focus is on value.
HRN - A system thats focus is on horses 5/1+, sent each evening by email & telegram.
A decent start on Saturday with 16/1 winner Express Train and 1/32 winner Shady Bay. Only 1 other winner this week with Sparkling Pink @ 5/1, then followed by 17 straight losers -
important to use a proper betting bank to follow system tipsters.
July showing a small loss of -5.5 at this stage which brings the year to date (and only really important figure here) to +150 with a 25% ROI. At this rate he will better 2024's total 👀
Lay of the Day - Should perhaps be called Daily double Lay now since it now consists of 2 horses each day to lay. Fully automated lay service via xCloudBot
The previous author was
canned a month or so ago and it's taken me a while to get a system in place, get them emailing out and automating via xCloudBot daily, but all roads are now complete and the reboot is on.
13 qualifying lays so far in July, 10 winning bets and a small loss of -1.5
Not really helped by everything going pear shaped while I was on holiday - things always pick the best times to break.
Maybe not worth a look at this stage since its slightly red for the month but should start delivering in time and the extra selection per day can push profits more than the previous form pick one per day. Also worth mentioning this one comes fully included with your xCloudBot subscription
The Bet Professor - a slimline system based on betting horses at 4/1+ in the morning.
A tough month for the prof again this month with just 3 winners from 35 bets, with only 35 units of profit for the year its fairly easy to see why he doesn't have the same members as he did a couple of years back. Peak bet prof was
2023 with 714 bets and 200 profit for the year, and hasn't really been all that good since.
March & April showed huge promise this year with big profit months, if the 2nd half of the year can bring a few more of those it may revive some interest.
The Morning Line - a fully automated Betfair system, using stake to return (every winner returns £100 or as close to as possible), a bit like laying but betting to win. Bigger odds = lower stake. These days split into 3 old systems and 6 new systems added in Feb.
Warranted promoting after a strong back end of June and
continued good performance into July.
New systems performing better than the old so far for July
£490.94 NEW vs £170.84 old systems
July total +£661.78 and 13% ROI
Jamie (the author) tells me it peaks in the 2nd half of the year, last years results support that with
winning months June through November.
Betty Ai Lays - A fully autmated Lay system, completely data driven and using Ai to find selections.
25 Lays so far this month and a nice profit of +11.85, operating at a very high win rate with 21 out of 25 lays successful. Low key profitable, zero fuss, super consistent.
They have now operated for 9 months and in that time it has only had two losing months, both losing less than 1 unit.
My opinion is that people get involved with betting or tipster services, whatever you call them, to win and win consistently. Consider this thing is totally auto generated daily by ai the results are extremely impressive long term.
Handicap Ai - from the same file as the Lays, but we take the handicaps from the win side of it and back them to win.
The service has now officially halved its all time high, meaning a 50% drawdown should you have started on the exact day it hit +98.
Average
odds remain high at a shade over 10/1 and with a 15% win rate that does mean it's operating well above the breakeven line (8%), but the problem is for me is it's just not consistent and that shows in the lack of members compared to the lays (over 100 now).
I plan to sit down and have an argument with Ai about its handicap performance and rewrite the code at some point, when I have time is another question.
The Football Bot - our very own football automation software that works in the same way & layout as xCloudBot.
It's been a long time since I included the footy bot in the Sunday Supplement, because for a long time nothing has really happened with it. I have this week done some playing around with systems and built
a few systems.
For the purpose of showing you I'll just show the lays for now.
Lays - Sep 2015 onwards
2712 games, +556.89 profit to 1u lays
Max lay price 10.0
I have also teamed up with FBSA Football to automate their service, and I am able to offer an all inclusive monthly price weith automation included in the cost for £35 per month, rather than the one off season fee that he charges.
There is also an optional Pay as you win service which I intend to thrash out a deal on this week, we had teething problems getting all the odds criteria sorted but it's all now working so we can bang heads and get this sorted for the new season.
FBSA 94 - Laying The Draw
FBSA 96 - Fixed Odds Set & Forget
FBSA PAYW - Pay As
You Win
More details on those next week via its own email.
I used to do a whats to watch here followed by a Winner of the Week. I don't really feel either are needed anymore, if you've got this far you've a good idea of what performed well this past week and month.
Also note I was awake until gone 1am writing this Saturday night so any feedback is most welcome! Drop me an email, I am
human and will reply.
Otherwise thanks for reading and see you next week
