I did say last week there would be no Supplement this week as I had given Tom a weeks rest from it. Well, my pregnant wife hasn't dropped yet so I've decided to go ahead and write the supplement for him this week - and we'll take NEXT WEEK off.
3 New guys joined us last week and it's been a bit of a mixed bag. One got off to an awful start, one started ok, and the other is neither here nor there. Another service has really caught the eye this week and looks dead set to be a successful candidate sooner or later, while the Indian seems to be having an Indian Summer. Overall the week seems like it's been pretty harsh to most!
Sports Day
5 wins from his first 7 bets makes for a healthy strike rate, but odds is the issue here. All bets so far are less than evens so the 2 losers have all but wiped out the profit made on the 5 wins. It's early days so we'll see how it goes, it's certainly something different with a mix of sports so fingers crossed it can go well.
Bank Builders
9 winners this month and a profit of 5 points makes for a good ROI (just 22 bets). The highlight of the week has to be Lucky Number, a 5/1 winner on Wednesday. One I'm keeping a close eye on as it seems 'punter friendly'.
Little Lays
A truly horrid start to his lay trial. 45 selections sent, 12 none runner and no shorter than 11 winners to put him instantly on the back burner. -22 points at the end of week 1 but it's a long road and hopefully just a blip - too early to tell.
Clerk of the Course
WOW.
Not one but TWO 12/1 winners on Tuesday sets the tone for the week. No bets on Wednesday but Thursday saw him back in the winners enclosure with Enthaar at 7/2, and Friday rounds off a great week with an 8/1 winner with Road Rage first past the post (but the disqualified, double results/first past the post applies bar exchange). Certainly looks like a hidden gem has again been uncovered.
The Racing Indian
One winner again this week for the Indian as the dry spell continues. Another 9.5 knocked off his total takes his total back to just 2 points profit. Hopefully just a blip.
Cleeve Racing
Just Saturday to talk about for Cleeve this week. The high of Goodwood came back down to earth with a bump with nothing on target Saturday. It's never nice to have a day like that but after the previous few days members wasn't exactly moaning!

Five winners this week for TP but a bit of a dip in form - as seems to be the norm this week. Two winners Saturday with Enbihaar (7/2) and Bay Watch (15/8). Members had to wait until Tuesday for the next winner with Ificudiwud (9/4) winning at Roscommon. Friday started well with two winners from the first 3 but followed up with 7 losers and then Friday drew a blank. A loss of 10 points over the week but no real drama and plenty of time to fix that.
Week profit -10.12 Month profit (BOG) 5.493, -12.1 (BFSP)
The overdue upturn looked like happening when the week started well on Sunday as SCOFFLAW was a generous 6/1 winner. Monday followed up with a 4/1 winner in BREATHABLE. It was Thursday before we had another trip to the winners enclosure and ROCK THE CRADLE scored at 5/2. Friday drew a blank.
Another one with a slight loss on the week but again not disgraced at all, but due a good turn of form all the same.
Week profit -3.5 Month profit -8.5 (BOG), -6.46 (BFSP)
7 winners this week with in a busy week for TMP. Breathalyze got the ball rolling on Sunday at 5/2. True Romance made it 2 at 9/2 on Tuesday. A very busy Wednesday with more qualifiers than usual, and just the one winner as Tukhoom stemmed the losses at 4/1. Mr Kiki was Thursdays winner going in a 5/2 and a 25/1 place with Colonel Whitehead. On to Friday and shaping better with 3 winners at 13/2 and 5/2 (times two) securing a profit on the day. Not an amazing week but not
disgraced at -7.5.
Week profit -7.5, Month profit -9.5
A poor end to the Galway festival continued and just 2 winners for me this week. Mr Smith an easy winner at 11/8 on Tuesday and Construct a nice 3/1 winner on Thursday. Not a great week but on a more positive note I'm being more selective at this time.
Week profit -6.5, Month profit -5.45
Just a place for Will this week at 10/1.
Week profit -4, Month profit +5.73
Sacred Sprite an unlucky 2nd on Friday means a small step back of -3.6 this week. Small differences between getting back to winning ways and losing. Patience still key with this one.
Round 8 profit -18.85, Total profit +104.93
