Onwards with our weekly overview..

Cold Lays

A new trial from our very own Ben, author of My Favourite Lays. This time it's aimed at low odds so the strike rate is much lower than MFL. Since a tweak to the system 23/04: 85 bets, 61 winners, +20.58, average odds 4.13

Football Lays

Eight bets and six converting with two losers doing a bit of early damage to kick May off. Banfield and Bordeaux the only two losing lays and while the strike rate remains high for the month at 75% the odds of the two in question doing the most damage.

European Football Consultant

Huesca with the upset in Efc's only bet this week meant no winners for the European Football specialist.

-1 point from 1 staked for the month so far with his only other selections both Void.

Worth The Weight

Just one bet this week and no joy with Hochfeld failing to hit the target.

Top of The Pops

Just one winner this week as TOTP appears to be squandering the progress made. Chil Chil the only tip on target at Newmarket returning 3.5 points profit.

7 staked and -2.5 so far for the month. The overall down to 12.98

High Five

Still without a winner in May after 9 attempts.

My Favourite Lays

Not the best of starts to May with MFL finding himself 11 points down in the first week of May. Fourteen bets and ten winners for a strike rate of 71.43%.

It'll be the biggest deficit MFL has had to overturn since joining PuntHub with (I think) -5 overturned pretty easily.

Lay 2 Liability

A much better start to May with just shy of 15 points profit. 30 selections with 26 horses beaten. It's a great start and I'm sure Paul will be happy with the progress made.

Wedge Winners

Fifteen winners this week and a good start to May for Wedge Winners. Mystery Angel knocked in 12 points profit at Newmarket, Mercurial earned WW a mention on Wednesday with a hefty 19.5 point haul and Yorkshire Lady rounded the week off with a 13 point winner at Ripon.

20 points up from 91 staked and followers both new and old will be happy with the progress this month despite the strike rate being lower the average odds are much higher at the moment.

HRN

Six winners this week and higher odds helping HRN get off to a good start. Mystery Angel returned 12 points profit at Newmarket, Mother Earth followed up straight after with 10 points profit and Yorkshire Lady also earns a mention returning 6.5 points profit wrapping the week up.

17.25 up from 40 staked for the month and its a solid start for HRN.

Home Form

five staked and a small profit for Home Form. Nashville SC (soccer club? whats soccer?) the only side to let the treble down. But Mura and Sochi both obliged for the Midweek double to return 1.38 points profit.

The Master Plan

Just three winners this week and a bet heavy start to the month for TMP. Strawberry Jack and Degree both returning 3.33 points profit and earning a mention.

So what’s to watch?

Wedge Winners - a great start to May leading on from a big profit in April. 20 points up after the first week of the month and the winners all at good odds. Wedge Winners is just £20 a month and if you didn't already get the message, it'll be £20 well invested! Get involved here

HRN - a great start to the month for HRN with 17 points profit from 40 so far. April was tough with a very small profit but May is looking to be much more favourable at this early stage.

A note from the author

A decent week for some of the paid guys but the free side still looks to be lagging behind - a bit like the weather!

Nothing much from me to report this week in all honesty.

Mum & baby both fine for anyone that read last week and was interested to know.

Now we just need UEFA to see sense and move the CL final to Villa Park!
