Demachine got as far as the first fence yesterday before unshipping his jockey. Grangeclare Glory ran okay but could only manage 3^rd whilst Quoi De Neuf was bitterly disappointing, finishing 3^rd of the4 runners and not jumping at all well. He ran nothing like he did in his last race.

Very surprisingly, especially for a Tuesday, it’s a really busy day for us today. Let’s hope we can get the month going!

12.35 Doncaster

Manintheshadows looks a different horse this season, having won at Worcester and placed at Uttoxeter and Ffos Las. Last time out, when a selection for us, he pulled up and I’m hoping that was a one-off and that he can bounce back today.

12.50 Exeter

I think that the Venetia Williams trained Fuji Flight has a great chance here having finished 5^th in a much stronger race at Haydock, last time out. The danger and worth a bet as well is Illegal Model. She was unlucky in her chase debut at Kelso last month when hampered early on and then unseating her rider. She could well figure here.

1.05 Doncaster

Having already backed Poets Corner in three previous races this season there is no way I am going to desert him now despite his huge price. Although he was disappointing in his three bumper races he has won a point to point and it is interesting that he is now significantly up in trip for his hurdles debut.

1.40 Doncaster

Write off a Dan Skelton horse at your peril. Beakstown was strongly fancied and ultimately disappointing in his last race at Cheltenham but he is better than that and hopefully, he’ll show that today.

2.30 Exeter

Two weeks ago Run To Milan finished 4^th at Newbury and was certainly not disgraced. This distance will suit him and a bold showing can be expected. He is 2lb lower than his last race as well which will also help.
