It was very much a nearly day yesterday. Both Beakstown and Run To Milan looked like winning their races only for both o finish 2nd. Fuji Flight and Illegal Model were both well beaten as was Poets corner but
despite all this we still made a profit on the day when Manintheshadows Won 11.0 and Placed 3.4.
Today is much quieter. I expected two runners at Leicester but the races have cut up badly and both Dusart (1.50) and Zambella (3.20) are ridiculous odds on and not worth backing and I’m going to take the latter on. That
leaves us with just one selection as below.

It’s probably madness to take Zambella on but we backed Allavina last time out and I think if the favourite fails for whatever reason, then our selection can capitalise. She was a fairly useful hurdler who easily landed the odds in a 2m Perth novice in the spring. She shaped as if in need of the experience on chase debut/return at
Warwick in December and has had a breathing operation since. There is definitely more to come from the filly and hopefully it starts today.
