I thought Allavina ran a decent enough race yesterday when finishing 3^rd. He was only ¾ lengths behind the long odds on Zambella and he should be capable of winning a race in due course.

A couple for us today and they should both go well.

A selection for us just over a month ago Barrowdale looked in need of the experience when second of 11 in bumper here. He is much respected though now that he’s going hurdling for a top yard that is very much amongst the winners at the moment.

2.40 Catterick

Charlie Longsden has a really useful handicap chaser in the form of Almazhar Garde who picked up 2 wins last season. He looked better than ever when second in the Southern National at Fontwell in November but finished well held after making a noteable error in the  Borders National in early December. If he repeats the Fontwell form he will take all the stopping here.
