3:00 Newcastle, East End Girl - 1pt win 100/30
Hill/BV/PariMatch
Ran well at Haydock on her return to action after a lengthy lay off finishing 4th and
only beat by a length after looking the likely winner a furlong out. That race was run at a solid pace so will do her the world of good, and after another month's break the hope is that she won't 'bounce' on this second run after a lengthy absence. She's gone well at Kempton as a 3yo and with her sire having 2 winners from just 16 runners at Newcastle in his relatively short spell as a sire, it bodes well for a trainer who also has a good record when swapping the turf for the all-weather (8W 37R
22% s/r). She'll need to be on her mettle as she'll be giving weight to her 3yo rivals tomorrow, but she's a nice-looking daughter of 'Youmzain' and with that return run under her belt, I think she can go well against a bunch of 3yo's that don't seem to be progressing.

Brighton, Viewfromthestars - 2pts win 7/2 generally
Has caught the eye a couple of times on the all-weather including Wolverhampton where he
was keeping on well after being held up and racing keenly from his wide draw. And then last time back in May, he was given a more forward ride this time and possibly raced even keener and never stayed, behind a few nice types who've gone on to frank the form. He's been given a mark of 57 after those two eye-catching runs and if he's trained on and can settle better with the hood to help over this shorter trip, then this nice-looking and well-bred son of 'Startspangledbanner' might find himself
extremely well handicapped off this mark
6:00 Sligo, Eagle Perch - 1pt e/w 20/1 generally 4
places
Ran well when having her first start for a yard that does well with new recruits, keeping
on nicely on the inside after meeting a little trouble, before her run possibly petered out late on. The time of the race was nothing special, but she had some in form 3yo's ahead of her that day and in what looks an easier assignment down in trip, she looks set to run well.
6:50 Kempton, Animate - 1pt win 11/4 generally
A lovely looking son of 'Shamardal' he ran well at Newmarket on debut behind a few other well-bred types, all of which have franked the form. He took a while to pick up that day but never looked stronger than at the finish, and if he can transfer that form to the all-weather tomorrow, then it must give him a
great chance of winning what's probably a much weaker race bar the fav and one or two debutantes.
