BATAL DUBAI 7.15 Windsor is a colt that I think could potentially be a pattern class performer. A winner of two of his four starts as a two-year-old, he was impressive on the second of those wins, when showing a nice turn of foot, before going on to disappoint on his final start on
soft ground. It’s quite clear, even from just four runs, that the good-to-firm ground he gets here are his ideal conditions. He has a great draw in stall 4, the stable are in great form, whilst the Charlton stable is one which knows how to handle talented sprinters, so for me there’s plenty to like about the 11-1 best price on offer.
Over at Wolverhampton, ABERAMA GOLD 7.30 Wolverhampton really catches the eye. Firstly, he’s running off his lowest mark since 2019. Secondly,
this represents a level which is below his true level of ability. Thirdly, the stable are in a crazy run of good form at the minute. Throw in the fact he has a great draw in stall 2 and that there’s a slight suggestion that maybe his biggest threats prefer 7f, then I’m happy to row in at his current price.
