14:15 Musselburgh
ENRILO 12/1 0.5pt E/W (1pt)
(BF/PP)
Admittedly, Enrilo is something of a frustrating type, averaging a fall almost every 3 starts…having said this, a switch to Musselburgh, at which the fences are probably some of the softest in the UK, can look to suit here. He’s been rated as high as 147 in the past, and has won off 138, so is immediately looking well handicapped here off a revised 130 when equating for Angus Cheleda’s 5lb
claim. He was an eye-catcher given the way he kept on in 4th last time out at Wincanton, just looking outpaced over the 3m2f trip, and today’s first time step up to a marathon 3m7f may just be proving exactly what he needs to return to winning ways.
17:30 Wolverhampton
GLEN HESTE 11/2 0.5pt E/W (1pt)
(bet365/Coral/Lads)
Glen Heste was heavily gambled on handicap debut, backed 9/1 into 3/1 for defying an
opening mark of 55, the market clearly feeling he's a well handicapped type, however a slow start out the gates cost his chance. He went close to winning nto, beaten a neck when employing front running tactics for the first time step up to the mile, however he wasn't in the same form 10 days ago when held up off a steady pace over the same track and trip. He's clearly on a nice mark, and if renewing forward going tactics again here, he's got to have a leading chance. His owner is an impressive
27% round Wolves, so the first time switch here looks a real positive, as does the booking of Callum Shepherd on board.

SOLDIER OF DESTINY 9/1 0.5pt E/W (1pt)
(Victors/BF/PP)
Soldier Of Destiny put up a careers best effort when scoring 6 starts back at Haydock, running over today's 2m4f trip from a mark of 131. he rated 139 at his peak, and actually fell when looking to be going well when
last seen over today's C&D in a higher grade off 137, also going off favourite for that contest. Although a mixed bag since, he was given a sharpener over hurdles last time out on the back of wind surgery and a 279 day break, and should be stripping much fitter and ready to go second time up for the switch back to fences. A revised mark of 117 when accounting for the claimers 10lb claim has him looking seriously well-in.

TEA LEAF TED 3/1 0.5pt E/W (1pt)
(BF/PP)
The moneys come for Tea Leaf Ted who was beaten a mere shoulder over C&D on his penultimate start in a higher graded 0-65, despite losing a shoe. He was disappointing last time out when going off fav over the same track and trip, undone by the wide route he plotted round, however he retains potential here, drawn well in stall 2, and renewing the partnership with Kieran O’Neil who was on board for the shoulder
2nd. Each way for cover.
