That last effort was over 5 1/2f and before that had been running over 6f, 7f and even a mile – so the big question is, will he have enough pace to still be able to mount a challenge in the closing stages?

He’ll be taking on six proven distance winners too – with three of those also having won over this course, Second Collection, Atty’s Edge and Suanni. So, I’m happy to look elsewhere and take on this Mark Gillard horse, who has only won once from his 35 career starts.
