River Run Free did the business at Lingfield last time, and even with a 6lb hike, he looks well-in. His debut
handicap chase win (with a tongue-tie added) was gutsy – he and Joe Cotton left the rest 11L trailing. His Irish point form behind Final Demand (now a Graded beast) reads well too. We Got Your Back (2 wins under a hood) is a danger, but I’m sticking with Pipe’s improver.

Largy Force’s been cursed with seconds
and thirds but deserves a win. She was gaining when brought down at Wetherby last time, and this step up in trip could unlock her stamina. The yard’s had a quiet spell, but a recent winner signals a revival. Trapista’s dropped to a handy mark – watch the market for whispers.

Classic Anthem loves a stamina test. He
flew late to nearly catch Leader In The Park at Warwick and should relish this stiffer 2m4f. Heavy ground form (course hurdles win) and Sean Bowen staying aboard are pluses. Es Perfecto (trip too far last time) and Heros (needed comeback run) are threats, but the selection’s set up to strike.
