Express Surprise is the obvious danger after a dominant Huntingdon win, but he’s now 12lb higher (factoring
in the jockey switch). Jessmae (4/1) offers better value. His Catterick mishap (unseated) was unfortunate, but he jumped well otherwise and has a winning pointer’s pedigree. A return to Market Rasen (left-handed) should suit, and with 18lbs from the favorite, he’s the smart play.

The market leaders, Aurigny Mill and Liari, are respected, but two bigger prices catch the eye:
Out Of Office (11/1): Lightly raced and 23lbs better off with Aurigny Mill from their last meeting. Evan Williams’ yard is flying, and while fitness is a question, he’s worth a punt.
Luttrell Lad (10/1): Ran well in
a valuable Southwell handicap last time and now 9lb lower with Cameron Iles’ claim. His Taunton bumper win shows he likes the track.
Both are overpriced, so split stakes and back them win-only.
