🏇 Doncaster
2:25pm – Iberian (8/1 with bet365)
A Group 2 winner over course and distance as a juvenile, Iberian looked a natural over seven furlongs. His return to six furlongs raised eyebrows, but he handled the
drop well at Southwell in December. Lightly raced and open to more, he could surprise now tackling sprint trips with a wind op behind him.
3:00pm – Dancing Gemini (10/3 with William Hill)
Second in the French Guineas and a fine sixth in the Derby, Dancing Gemini returns at what looks his ideal trip. He wasn’t at his best after Epsom, but his form in top-level company stands out. A strong pace should play to his strengths, and he
looks ready to go fresh.
3:35pm – Lincoln Handicap
Midnight Gun (15/2 with Coral)
Thunder Run (5/1 with Unibet)
Midnight Gun, now gelded, looks ready to progress this season and was just behind Lincoln favourite Harper’s Ferry over C&D last time. James Doyle rides, and the form has substance. Thunder Run was
a powerful winner at York and is drawn to attack. Both look solid each-way plays in an open renewal, though high draws are a small concern.
🏇 Kempton
2:05pm – Who’s Glen (Nap) (5/1 with bet365)
Lightly raced stayer Who’s Glen shapes as one to follow this season. He’s bred for a test and hit the line strongly when winning at Chester over 1m6f. The step up to two miles looks a positive, and he could be well handicapped now
tackling this trip on the polytrack for the first time.
