NEW TRIAL - HORSEPLAYS
I've been interested in racing all of my life (I'm old too) - but I only really started to take it seriously during lockdown - I started posting in Facebook groups.
I started Horseplays last summer and what I do is post free
stuff (generally on a weekend and on special occasions) on the website so that people who like what they see ultimately sign up for the subscription service - which is currently administrated by the Tipsters League. This link has my last 6 months results (from when I started in the league) on there.
The aim with Horseplays is to not only give selections, but to give the reasons why - so, on there I try to explain my decisions, win,
lose or draw - so that I can assist people with their future selection process.
I have bad runs of form / luck - anyone who says they don't, I just don't believe.
However, I'm confident that over the long term I can win more than I lose - as I have skill, knowledge and discipline.
I generally go for each-way value
options at double digit prices - but if I see something at 5/2 that I think has a great chance, I won't hesitate to put it up. I cover both national hunt and flat - my passion , however, is jumps racing.
I'm more about studying the statistical side - such as speed ratings and I analyse things such as draw and pace bias. I watch a lot of races.
I'll be honest with you in that
I think when it comes to horse racing, most people talk utter s*it and don't have a clue what they are talking about. It's the wild west out there, filled to the brim with cowboys and card sharks. I don't think I would trust anyone else to give you Horseplays tips other than myself.
