🟩 3:15pm Ayr – Leader In The Park (Each-Way)
Leader In The Park looks primed to go well now dropping back in trip and encountering better ground after a solid run at Kelso last time
out. He led at the last that day and only gave best late in the run-in. This tighter test over 2m4f+ should suit much better, especially with conditions drying out.
He’s the only confirmed front-runner in the field and can make use of that edge under Ben Jones, especially if allowed to dictate. There are dangers – Dan Skelton’s Riskintheground is weighted to go well, and Crebilly shouldn’t be dismissed lightly – but Leader In The Park
is a value play with four places on offer.
🔹 Selection: Leader In The Park (Each-Way) – 13/2 with bet365 (4 places)
🟩 4:58pm Ayr – Out Out (Nap)
Out Out caught the eye when finishing second to the now 18lbs higher-rated Benvoy at Huntingdon, and a 5lbs rise looks more than fair given the strength of that form. He may be unproven
over this extra half-mile, but his second in a Warwick bumper behind a Grade 1-placed rival on good ground suggests stamina shouldn’t be an issue.
Dan Skelton’s team are flying in pursuit of the trainers’ title, and everything from the yard deserves serious respect. He looks well treated ahead of a further 2lbs hike set to kick in from tomorrow.
🔹 Selection: Out Out (Nap – Win) – 10/3 with
bet365
🟩 4:10pm Newbury – Moon Over Miami (Win)
Moon Over Miami was disappointing at Lingfield last time but is unbeaten in two starts on turf and looked like a stayer to follow when going close at Kempton the time before. This return to grass could see him bounce right back to form, and he remains unexposed at staying trips.
There are bigger targets ahead – he
holds a Chester Cup entry – and the market support in most of his career starts suggests connections hold him in high regard. If he’s tuned up for this, he should take some beating.
🔹 Selection: Moon Over Miami (Win) – 4/1 with William Hill
