Unfortunately PSG let us down otherwise we would have banked (or nearly banked) from a starting point of Thursday everything bar PSG won. That's at least 3 near misses so far, but we will bank one soon.
Given the loss of PSG we restarted with £10
on Miami, which rolled onto Aston Villa on Sunday who won, which now leaves us with £22.93 for our next bet.
There were only 2 matches of potential interest on Monday. A Dutch 2nd division game BTTS which actually did end 3-1, with the 1 coming in the 90th min so I feel partly vindicated for not putting that out. And the other is a Brazillian cup game between Fortaleza B (who are basically academy players) & Tirol (who are fairly
low but do at least have experienced players). So you've got promising teenagers vs seasoned lower-league pros. Think Premier League 2 side (Fortaleza B) vs experienced National League North players - different skillsets, not necessarily a huge gap either way.
I thought about it, but I don't want to risk a chain on some low tier crap in a Brazil cup match, a cup that has so far seen a couple of underdogs winning and the top seed
eliminated, at 4/6 i'll just pass and hope they win to appease my reseach.
Moving on..
Tuesday 2nd Dec
Back to the big boys in the Premier League, bread & butter that we all know well.
Fulham have been in decent nick at home with 4 wins from 6, and while City haven't exactly
been a their blinding best lately (2-0 up to 2-2 at the weekend before a Foden 91st min winner for City). I still feel City should be more than capable of nicking this, and Pep will be keen to keep Arsenal within reach as City are usually a different beast after Christmas. Im taking a punt (again) £22.93 on City to win at 1.71 (bfx) while the odds are somewhat decent for City.
Wednesday 3rd Dec
Couple
of choices here, do you go with Wolves to continue to be utterly shit, and that Notts Forest can beat them? Bare in mind it took Villa until 67 mins to find a breakthrough, Wolves did play much better than they have been but still lost. Forest are good enough to beat them and odds of 2.36 do look a bit too juicy to pass on. My solution here is to start a brand new, 2nd chain, with £10 on Forest at 2.36
The £22.93 will go on Chelsea to
win away at Leeds, who came back very well at the weekend against City (as discussed) only to be deflated on 91 mins losing 3-2. They have home advantage but Chelsea are a decent team this season with a decent attacking unit capable of finding space, and cruicially, goals. They sit 3rd in the league 1 point behind City in 2nd and I think are genuine 3-way conmtenders for the league (Arsenal, Cirty, Chelsea). They offer better value at 1.83 than trusting Liverpool at 1.39, so Chelsea is the bet
here. £22.93 @ 1.83
Thursday 4th Dec
I really don't think there will be a bet for either chain on Thursday, I'll double research the Man United match but I can't see me fancying that. Nothing really stands out at this point, i'll be back in touch Thursday.
