🔥 Nap of the Day 🔥
🗺️ 17:30 Kempton
🐎 Palmarian
🟢Odds: ~ 3.25
🟢Stake: ~ 1.5u WIN
Reasoning:
Lightly raced and with scope to improve, Palmarian makes appeal dropping into a winnable Class
5 7f on polytrack. He shaped better than the bare result on his reappearance at Yarmouth (good to soft), sent off favourite and beaten only 2¼ lengths after travelling well but flattening late over the final furlong. That run should have tightened him up and this return to a sharper, more pace-reliable 7f on the all-weather looks a plus. His pedigree (Kingman out of a Dubawi mare) screams 7f/1m and typically does well on synthetics, and with William Buick in the saddle once again we can expect a
well timed ride around Kempton.
The race has enough pace angles to set it up for a closer. Also with several exposed or seemingly at their ceiling off current marks, Palmarian is the one in this field who can step forward from a mark of 83, fitness looks on his side and conditions suit. The hood is retained, which should help him settle and finish off stronger, and the yard is going well.
