Our selection drifted to a huge BSP and wasn’t disgraced. The other old boy in the race won, and arguably we could have got in a slightly better position coming off the turn.

ISLE OF LISMORE has the two best speed ratings on turf in this field of 3 year olds, and after winning a class 2 last time out this class 3 contest is right up his street.

His last run was his best and was just 8 days ago. The sire ran well when returning within 10 days, and Cieren Fallon retains the ride, who does well here (20% over 5 years).

He’s improving with each race and I’m hoping he’ll take another step forward here eased in grade, and the added weight looks fair up 7lb.

He should stalk the leaders today and produce a good late challenge, who will be going quick today, and produce a good run late.
