How Do I Expect This Horse To Run?
I’m wanting a gate to wire ride here. First time in a small field for this one here and I do believe he will enjoy it.
Why The Trainer And Jockey?
The trainer is coming here for the first time with this 3yr old, and has entered this colt into several contests in quick succession after this run here. That’s a great sign as they trainer wouldn’t be paying the entry fee for no reason. She clearly sees potential here in this lightly raced 3yr old.
The jockey has ridden the past 3 times and is taking 3lb off today.
Why The Horse?
The extra furlong will help today. He kept on lto over 7f and went 2nd in the final strides. He handled the class raise lto, and with less weight this time I think this horse will be up for the challenge of this small field.
With further progression expected and the good signs from the trainer I want a dominate performance from the front.
