Where Do I Expect This Horse To Run?
I’m wanting a prominent ride here, hopefully leading. In a small field here at Nottingham you want to be with the leaders, or in front.
Why The Trainer and Jockey?
The trainer doesn’t excite me all too much, but his decision to geld this horse ahead of his last race was a good one, and proves he has faith in this horse to spend that much on the operation.
Ben Curtis rode lto and retains the ride today. He has a very impressive record here, winning 24.32% of races in the past year, and 20% in the last 5 years. Both with positive p/l’s.
Why The Horse?
This horse had a string of class 1 races, before dropping to a class 3 lto. He was slowly away that day, and didn’t offer anything towards the end of the stiff finish and Hamilton. Today’s flat 5f will suit a lot better, and despite his slow getaway lto he scored an impressive speed rating after being gelded for the first time.
He arrives here 1lb lighter, with the same jockey on board on the flat 5f. With a clean getaway and a ride from the front this horse will take a lot of beating.
